Goodbyes


 It's been a busy week and I haven't had time to write. I have been at work for nine days due to winter weather that decided to grace our state. I'm happy that I will be off for the next 5 days so I will have some time to blog. Not happy that my child has covid & the flu. I will be glad to say goodbye to both the weather and her illnesses, which brings me to the topic at hand. Saying Goodbye...

One of my dearest and best friends moved recently and I'm going to miss them like crazy! When they first told me that they were moving out of state I was like no, no way and nope not going to let you! I didn't know how I was going to get through my hard days without them. Then they said silly we have phones. So we can talk, text, video call, there's even messenger and writing letters. They said don't forget I'm only going to be 2/3 hours away so there are also road trips to see each other. This person has been one of the realest people in my life. They have always had my back when I'm in the room and not in the room, they except me just the way I am, they encourage me and believe in me, even when I was making bad decisions they never left my side, and more importantly they have always kept my secrets. I'm going to miss the hugs I would get when I was having a bad day but I know I can always do the multiple things I listed above anytime day or night and they will be there to talk and help me through whatever it is I'm dealing with. They have a beautiful soul and a very kind and understanding heart. These rare gems are hard to find and when you do you keep them at any cost. These kind of people are the genuine real deal and they will make your life such a blessing. My friend has been so good to me I just want what's best for them and their happiness. They have been through hell and back but you would never know because of the smile they always have. This person is also very talented and I want them to know they can do anything I mean Anything they put their mind to it. I'm so proud of them and look forward to seeing what God has planned for them in this new chapter of their life. I know you will read this so I want you to know that I think that you are amazing, awesome, beautiful, caring, dedicated, funny, kind, loving, optimistic, radiant, sassy, silly, smart, talented, wonderful. May God Bless you and your life with all the things you pray for and more. This is not goodbye, it's see you later. I love you and miss you. God Bless 🙏

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
