Hard Times


 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world  you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world

John 16:34


So many people are hurting and going through hard times right now. Maybe your a single parent who gets no child support or you lost someone who you love to death or are about to lose them, you have no job, your homeless, you have lost all your belongings to a fire, flood or other natural disaster, you're an addict trying to stay clean, your in a middle of getting a divorce or no longer find yourself with the person you love, being abused in any way or have been abused, your bank account has a dollar in it or it's in the negative, bills are due, you have legal issues and the list goes on. Whatever it is your facing know it will get better. God sees you and hears you and he's making a way for you. You just have to hold on and believe it. Keep doing your best everyday, don't give up and don't make excuses to quit. When that tide turns you'll be glad you didn't. You will be able to show others what the Lord did for you so they will have hope. I know you're tired and barely hanging on, I know you're worried and stressed, your getting no rest just have Faith your breakthrough is coming. Remember you are strong, stronger than anything that has come to break you. God loves you and I'm here for you to talk to, to pray with, to just hold your hand. I believe in you and together we will make it through is storm together. 


For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. I thought how appropriate to be writing my 48th on my 48th. Maybe I did reach my goal, if I can get two more posts in before midnight technically that would still count, right? Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
