Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Warning: Long blog but worth the read:


 

People can tell you anything they want, even if it's not the truth. They will tell you things to pull on your heart strings to benefit their motives until you are no longer beneficial to them. I'm sorry and I love you are the two most misused words ever. Sorry doesn't mean a damn thing if 1: you are not truly sorry and 2: if you keep repeating what you are doing and think saying sorry is going to help, it doesn't! I love you is a big one, anybody can say it but very few mean it or truly show it. I love you has gotten a lot of people hurt and has had them doing things they wouldn't have other wise. Those three words can make or break a person. People don't take what they say and mean seriously, they often don't think about what they are speaking and then we wonder why the world is like it is today. The thing is these are all just words, what matters is the actions of the person for what's in the heart will come out. If there is beauty it will show and if it's hate it will show, if it's not truthful it will show ect ect.. Words are just words you need to look beyond that at the action of the person. That's where the truth really is. A person can only be what they are not for so long before who they really are starts coming out. If a person shows you who they really are you best believe it. Even if it's in the small things, like a joke they say about you or how they act when they don't get their way, or how they choose to communicate or not communicate. People's actions will always speak louder than their words! That's especially true when you start putting boundaries in place or telling them no and not giving them total access to you. You want to see how someone really feels about you get them mad, angry, don't let them have their way, say no, stick to your beliefs and boundaries, life happens and plans change ect ect...then watch out! Is that the kind of person you want in your life? What about if they know your deepest secrets or have information about you that could literally destroy you or end your life? Then what? Do you keep putting your head in the sand or do you cut your losses? It's true we are always fighting to hang on or fighting to let go. We never know if we are doing or making the right choices. Here's the thing if you have to question or don't trust someone that's a problem, if their actions haven't matched the words they speak that's a problem, if your confused and hurt by them that's a problem, if you don't have peace, joy and are always having chaos in your life because of them that's a problem! No matter how much you care or love them, Let Them Go! You should want and deserve peace, joy and unconditional love no strings attached. You are worth it. If you are a child of God it doesn't matter who is against you because He will always uphold you and protect you. The truth always comes out and people's true characters are always brought to light. Don't let fear keep you from doing what needs to be done, don't let it rob you of your joy, life is to short not to be living your best life! Once you let go of the things not meant for you, you open the door to receive the blessings the Lord has for you. So are you brave enough, strong enough to let go of what is holding you back from your blessing and walk the path God has for you? Let's pray :

Dear heavenly Father give me the wisdom to know who to let go of and who to hang on to. Remove anybody who is lying, talking behind my back, not being truthful, has evil intentions, out to harm me, anything negative, doesn't have my best interest at heart and just doesn't want me to have joy and blessings in my life (ect). God you know and see who is real and who is not remove them and let the truth be known. God protect me from anything that is not from you and I ask now in Jesus name that you take these people out of my life. I ask in your name Jesus that you bring people into my life that are for you and that love you, that have good intentions for me, that are positive, that will help me and my walk with you grow stronger, that will love me unconditionally and support me in all I do. Let your will be done in my life so I can fulfill my purpose that you made me for. In Jesus name I pray, Amen 🙏

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. As I have gotten older and been through many hard situations I don't take this time lightly. I try and enjoy every day and moment I can. My heart does get sad...

4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
