Once is all it takes
Have you ever known anyone who did something one time and it changed their life forever? One time having sex and end up with an STD or pregnant and having to decide how to cure the disease if there is one and whether to give life or to end it, takes a drink of alcohol then decide to drive thinking their ok only to hurt or kill someone or maybe themselves or ends up being an alcoholic and fighting with that for the rest of their life, do the drug only to become an addict to fight their whole life to stay clean or it kills them to leave their love ones to miss them, one lie turned into a life time of them and people won't believe them at their word, one affair ruins the relationship and does damage and hurt to others, tells one secret they we're told and now can't be trusted, steals something and it becomes a habit, leading to a life of thieving, one hit or punch leads to being an abuser, and the list goes on. Even if you been doing things for years it only takes one time for something to change and it can change your life forever and others too, it can even kill you and what you leave behind are people who miss you. We don't know what an outcome will be for decisions we make we only have to live with the consequences. For every action there is a reaction, whether good or bad. Sometimes it only hurts us and other times it hurts the ones around us. We should always be thinking about this, more importantly we should ask and pray for God's wisdom, guidance and understanding. We should seek Him before we do anything, be patient and wait upon His timing. Know that no matter what you are doing, have done or think about yourself, God loves you. He is the God that you can run to and He will welcome you right were your at. Lay it all down at His feet and know He will give you the strength and way out of that situation so you can be a light to others that are going through the same thing. He will turn your life into a testimony to show others and to bring praise and worship to the Father's name. Holy and Faithful is the Lord God Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, who is and who was and who is to come!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and will make your paths straight.
