Thank God His ways are better than mine

 I would love to say things have slowed down but unfortunately they have not. I'm trying my best to stay grounded and grateful, it's just really hard when your only one person and  have a million things to do, but this season I'm in life right now is teaching me things I need to know and grow on. God has a funny way of getting our attention when we get to busy and don't slow down or take the time for Him. I'm thankful for my heavenly Father who loves me so much that sometimes He allows my heart to break so I have no choice but to call on Him. Once He has my attention I see the difference in my way vs His way. I'm so grateful for His love and mercies. I'm even more grateful that He doesn't answer all my prayers. That His ways is better than mine. God there is nothing that You and I can't handle together. Thank you for all you have done for me and will do for me. 

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. I thought how appropriate to be writing my 48th on my 48th. Maybe I did reach my goal, if I can get two more posts in before midnight technically that would still count, right? Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
