Time Flies


 They say time flies when you're having fun but what about when your not? Life is busy and you get wrapped up in all the things you have to or need to do. Then before you know it another year has passed by just like that. Like today for example, how can we already had Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years is just a few weeks away. It seems just like yesterday we were doing this holiday. I guess it's really true, the older you get the faster it goes. This year I have really learned a lot and had some of my worst times but also some of my best times. Like finding out one of my best friends is pregnant with twins! Growing closer to another best friend and learning how to ask for help and not feel bad about it, that it's ok to not be able to do everything on your own. That most people are who they show you that they are and you can't change or help anyone, that they have to be the ones to do that. That actions speak louder then words and if someone really wants to be a part of your life they will find away and if not they will have plenty of excuses. Yes this has been a hard year but with so many blessings. I pray each and everyone of you end the year on a positive note with lots of blessings and may 2025 be the year all your prayers and dreams come true.

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
