Been feeling like this but trying to stay positive

 


I feel just like this picture. I don't have the energy to deal with one more thing but it seems like it doesn't stop. Sleep doesn't help, eating doesn't help, talking doesn't help, going to church and praising God helps some. I'm mentally, physically, emotionally just spent. The first 4 months of the new year have been good but then boom the sky falls in and everything happens at once. I'm just trying to do my best, make decisions that I pray are the right ones and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Not let negative feelings or thoughts over take me and keep pray to God to get me through whatever comes my way. One of the Bible verses that I go to when feeling I can't go on:

[29] He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. [30] Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; [31] but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:29-31 RSV

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. I thought how appropriate to be writing my 48th on my 48th. Maybe I did reach my goal, if I can get two more posts in before midnight technically that would still count, right? Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
