18 years...how is this possible?


 I'm a day late in writing this but better late than never, right? Yesterday Friday August 8th 2025 was an emotional day for me. My sweet, intelligent, beautiful, caring, baby girl turned 18 years old!  Technically she's not a baby girl any more but an adult, but to me she will always be my sweet baby girl. I keep thinking how did time go by so quickly? I just can't believe it. Time is a thief and if your not careful and wise with your time, you wake up one day and life has passed you by. We definitely have had some good times and some hard and sad ones too but it amazes me how much you have grown and how well you carry yourself through each challenge you have faced. You have such a strong Faith in the Lord, and a big heart. Your love for people and animals makes my heart so happy but also the fact that you don't take crap from no one I know you will be ok. I know I haven't been the perfect parent but I do pray you know how much I love you and would do anything for you. I look forward to seeing what God and the future holds for you. I love you more then the moon 🌙 the stars✨ and the sun, 🌞 more then life itself. I pray God's protection and blessings over you. I love you Abigail 🥰

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
