Let go and Let God




When I take things into my own hands

1. I lose influence (who do you want advice from on  marriage, dating, how to live a Godly life ect)

2. I delay God's plans( maybe I shouldn't have dated that person, or gone to that place or said those words ect)

3. I delay his timing ( His time not mine)

4. Others suffer( my actions can hurt others, can break trust)

5 God still has a plan ( no matter I have done, I can always come running back to my Heavenly Father, like The prodigal son)

God still loves you even when you don't wait on him.

God has the blue prints to who you are and what your is.

Where did I get off course but it's never to late as long as you live and breathe to go back go to the point of reference which is God because He is waiting

Don't do anything without asking God first BE PATIENT and PRAY before making any decisions


Dear God it's me again Joy, but you already know who I am. You made me, fearfully and wonderfully made in my mother's womb. You have a plan for my life bigger then anything I could dream of but I got in the way. I ask you to forgive me for going ahead of you and not waiting and being patient. I'm ready to do it your way, I've had a enough hard, of heartbreak, of not feeling worthy. I see now that some of those things I did to myself by not following Your will and some of it is just life. I ask you to walk before me, to walk beside me and behind me. To put a hedge of protection over me, to guide me, to show me what it is you made me for. I throw my hands up and surrender to you Lord. I have moved from the driver seat to the passenger seat. I put my life in you, my faith in you Lord. I put down all things not of you or from you at the foot of the Cross. Thank You God for sending your Son who died for ME. I'm ready to see what the future holds. Lord I love you.  Amen🙏

How appropriate my 48th post on my 48th birthday

So today is my 48th birthday and my one goal was to have 50 blogs written and posted. It looks like I didn't achieve that goal as this is my 48th blog. I thought how appropriate to be writing my 48th on my 48th. Maybe I did reach my goal, if I can get two more posts in before midnight technically that would still count, right? Goodbye September, Hello October

 How is it possible that today day is the last day of September? I will go to sleep and wake up to the first day of October. I can say I'm ready for the fall and colder months. Which is crazy to think 3 more of them and it's going to be a whole new year! Time needs to slow down or maybe it's me that needs to? I love this time of year as the evening's are cooler and I can sit out on the porch or lay in my hammock and enjoy the evening. The sounds of nature all around and seeing the beauty of God's creations. Plus it's Fall Festivals, Arts and Crafts shows, evening drives with the windows down, football on tv, I mean really there is lots to do in the fall. There is a few things I would like to do different or maybe have during this time of year but I have to have faith that God will eventually see to it. 4th of July 2025

 One of my favorite holidays has come and gone for another year. Things were a little different this year as my peeps that I go with to watch the fireworks didn't come due to having almost 6 month old twins at home. So I helped the church give out hot dogs and then my child and one of her friends spent time at the beach. Later we went and sat up on the damn and watched the fireworks. This was the end of a tradition but the start of a new one. Next year it will be home in our pool with close friends. Cooking out and doing our own fireworks show.
